He is the first Steiff plush animal to be made using sublimation printing, which is what brings out the colours so beautifully. The motif on transfer paper is “steamed” onto a synthetic substrate using a special dye. The stripes continue onto the mane and create a fascinating and realistic look. Zoelle Grant’s zebra is an impressive, beautifully designed animal from the Steiff workshop and aims to inspire children to care about these animals and let their imagination run wild.
