The Queen was born on 21 April 1926, the first child of The Duke and Duchess of York, who later became King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. When Her Majesty acceded to the throne aged just 25, her life changed overnight from that of a young naval wife and mother to a busy Head of State.

She was to become known for her sense of duty and her devotion to a life of service and was an important figurehead for the UK and the Commonwealth during times of both crisis and celebration with her steadfast strength and unparalleled commitment to duty.

Her Majesty the Queen became the longest reigning Monarch in British History. A record she broke once held for more than a century by her great-great grandmother, Queen Victoria. Our much loved queen died peacefully at Balmoral 8 September 2022. She was loved and respected and is greatly missed across the globe.

Steiff are honoured to pay tribute to Her Majesty The Queen with this glorious Teddy bear made of the finest beige mohair. Her paw pads are delicately embroidered in gold thread with the royal cypher EIIR and the silhouette of the queen. From her double bow hangs a beautiful cameo pendant.
