| The Land Cruiser, which is the subject of our model, was a beautiful car designed by Raymond Loewy. The Land Cruiser was surely inspired by the fabulous Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow show car of 1933. The four piece rear window, fender skirts and sweeping lines were light years ahead of anything else on the market. Two-tone paint combinations were available as were wing mounted spare wheels. |
