Mohair

Woody Teddy bear. You simply must see the warm and natural shades of Woody to truly understand how this Teddy earned his name. Woody is made from the finest long pile mohair in various brown colour shades on a dark olive cotton backing. Perhaps precious teak wood describes Woody´s colour best. His nose and claws are hand stitched with a nicely contrasting light beige embroidery thread. His charming facial expression is completed with shiny black eyes. Subtle airbrushed details around the eyes and on the nose and muzzle add a finishing touch. Of course, Woody can converse with you with a classic, full, rich-sounding growler.

Limited Edition (White and Red Ear Tag)
All the animals and Teddy Bears at Steiff are very pleased to receive the extraordinary distinction of the white ear tag with red writing because they are produced in a limited edition. This means that only a number is available and some are available only in certain countries.

Each of these pieces carry the gold plated "Button in Ear" and bring it's new owner a certificate that ensures the authenticity and special status as a Steiff Limited Edition piece.
