Sunny Teddy bear. Bigger isn´t always better - unless you are talking about Sunny, the largest Teddy Bear in our Worldwide Collection of Limited Editions. Sunny isn´t just the biggest, she´s the best! This XL Teddy is made from finest cream yellow long pile curled mohair on a sand coloured cotton backing. This beautiful colour will really warm your heart and bring you a little bit of the sun´s energy on rainy and grey days. Sunny is based on mid-1920´s Teddy Bear designs. Like these designs, Sunny has a big round head, a shorter muzzle and dark brown pupil eyes. This gives her an especially child-like expression. Our designers tell us it was "pure fun" to create Sunny. And it will be even more fun to make Sunny a part of your collection.

Limited Edition (White and Red Ear Tag)
All the animals and Teddy Bears at Steiff are very pleased to receive the extraordinary distinction of the white ear tag with red writing because they are produced in a limited edition. This means that only a number is available and some are available only in certain countries.

Each of these pieces carry the gold plated "Button in Ear" and bring it's new owner a certificate that ensures the authenticity and special status as a Steiff Limited Edition piece.

Mohair - Lustrous, shiny and sleek. This natural material from the wool of the angora goat is the traditional Teddy bear material. In fact, it was used for the first Teddy bear ever created. The fiber is both beautiful and durable, which accounts for the amazing number of vintage Steiff creations that appear today in superb condition. Most teddy bears and animals in Steiff's current Classic range are made of mohair material.
