Bully is one of the funniest characters in Steiff´s long history. Introduced in 1927, Bully was manufactured until 1936 (and reissued in subsequent years) in many sizes, shapes, and design variations. To no surprise, Bully was a huge success for Steiff. Today, serious collectors worldwide pride at least one of these exceptional characters in their collection. Our 1927 replica is made from fine cotton velvet in vintage beige and black. Jointed at the neck he sports a real horsehair and leather collar, just like the original. He is carefully hand stuffed with wood shavings from Switzerland. Bully has thin, flexible wires set in his fore and hind legs to enable realistic posing. His wonderful handmade glass eyes are little gems, topping off all the other fine details. Steiff´s 1927 Bully Replica is a true and faithful replica designed side by side with the original from the Steiff Archives.
