Mohair Buddha Bear

Tranquillity breeds strength. Strength that comes from your centre - the belly: this is one of the principles of Buddhist philosophy. The Buddha bear is a part of this tradition. He is made of brass-coloured mohair and his facial expression, posture and aura were inspired by classic Buddha figures. This bear is five-ways jointed and his legs are slightly bent, which enable him to sit in the lotus position in which energy can flow freely. His belly, which according Buddhist philosophy constitutes the main focus, is somewhat larger; his nose, mouth and claws are embroidered with gold-coloured thread. The corners of the bear's black eyes are hand-painted in order to give his expression depth and dignity. These qualities make the Buddha bear a friend with a strong character in everyday life that will gladly accompany his owner throughout all of life's questions. As a source of quiet harmony, he reminds us to consciously experience the moment as such in order to find the peace within ourselves and our environment. As a wise Buddhist proverb says - it is the small gestures and actions of everyday life that make up the future. This new bear stands for all this - and much more.
